On April 26, 2026, the oldest football club on the European continent, KB, will celebrate its 150th birthday.
On this occasion, KB is publishing a special anniversary book – a large 300-page coffee table book with stories about the club's birth and development, from the early days of ball sports in Denmark in the late 19th century to the organized and professionalized version of the ball games that we know today. The book has descriptions and illustrations of the club's facilities in Pile Alle and on Peter Bangs Vej. About the history of the facilities, about the architecture and about the struggle for the construction marked by both great visions and terrible accidents.
Of course, there is also room for selected stories and anecdotes from the club's long history. With the KB spirit intact in the mention of a number of the great KB personalities who have played a particular role in creating and developing the football club.
This anniversary book will particularly focus on daily life in the club in 2026. On the club's many activities. On the club's diversity. On the many volunteers who keep the wheels turning.
